What is a Mailing List?
A mailing list (ML) offers interaction with a closed group of members via your email address. This interaction is public within the group. With a mailing list you can send emails to several people at the same time without the need to enter email addresses individually. Mail which is sent to a mailing list is then received by each registered email address. Recipients may in turn post their own contributions. The manager of a mailing list can specify who should receive messages from the mailing list and who should be able to contribute to the mailing list. Managers can also specify that each contribution must be approved before it is sent on to other members of the mailing list, if they so wish.
